Glad you're here.

Lately I've been craving a space to have a longer form conversation with you - our customers, friends, community - a place outside of social media and email where we can walk you through our world and share more about what we're getting up to, and into, and of course, a place to hear from you too.

For those who don't know me, my name is Eliana Gil Rodriguez and I founded this little company called Gil Rodriguez back in 2018. When I was first starting this, I took a leap and decided to move out of my tiny but beloved studio apartment in the hills of LA into a house in the suburbs, so I could have a spare room to store product and ship orders out of. Office space in LA was a little out of my price range at the time. I took on a part time assistant (hi Michelle, I miss you!), and together we launched a small collection with just five styles, some of which are still our top sellers today. 

We've come such a long way since then, and now have an amazing team of women who bring Gil to life daily. More on all that and more soon. We're just glad you're here. 

Here I am two weeks after launching the company and moving house the same week (psycho). I'm wearing the Lapointe Tank and a vintage Sports Illustrated cap, not knowing a few years later Gil would be featured on this iconic cover.
